The Gentleman Jack star, 43, admitted she was flattered when she seemed to be mistaken for someone under-age while trying to put the kirsch-soaked fruit through the till – and even posted a picture of herself pondering the encounter, right.

Turns out it was Suranne who was confused. After checking her receipt an hour later, she remembered she had also bought her mother-in-law some gin – and realised that was why she was ID-checked!
