Video game boss is finally let into UK

THE boss of a London-listed video game developer will finally meet his UK investors in person more than a year after the group floated.

Alex Nichiporchik, chief executive of tinyBuild, will hold an investor meeting in Britain early next month, the first since the firm was listed on AIM in March 2021.

His efforts to enter the UK have been hamstrung by difficulties obtaining a visa. Born in Latvia before the collapse of the Soviet Union, Nichiporchik’s legal status renders him effectively stateless. He has blasted the Home Office, calling the issue ‘extremely frustrating’.
