CORRECTIONS & CLARIFICATIONS

All our journalists observe the Editors’ Code of Practice and the Mail is a member of the Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO). We aim to correct any errors as promptly as possible.

In an article on August 7, we stated that the SNP government had used funds from the Directorate for Covid Business Resilience and Support to help build two ferries at the Ferguson shipyard.

The government has asked us to make clear that the funds were dispersed from a division of the Directorate – the Strategic Commercial Interventions Division – and was not ‘covid-related’ money.
