Could you foil nuke hackers?

A NUCLEAR site is seeking a cyber security expert to help protect it from attacks.

The hi-tech job at Dounreay in Caithness comes as the facility is decommissioned at a cost of £3.2 billion. Dounreay was the centre of fast reactor research in the UK from 1955 to 1994. The remaining radioactive fuel there is due to be transferred to Sellafield in Cumbria by 2025.

The advert for the £53,000-ayear post states: ‘A vacancy has arisen within the security directorate for a specialist to support the operation of cyber security controls at Dounreay.’
