star Andrew Scott tells me he gets annoyed when people call die-hard fans of the hit BBC crime drama ‘creepy’.

Five years after Andrew, 45, played villain Moriarty, he says he still gets lots of Sherlockrelated fan mail.

But he adds: ‘Sport fans are never told they’re creepy even though they are dressed up in their favourite things, so I don’t think it’s fair to say that of TV people.’

He stars in Amazon’s new medieval comedy Catherine Called Birdy, so can expect some good old Anglo-Saxon insults next!
