Shame on Facebook for ad ban

I was annoyed to read your article ‘Breastfeeding firm is hit by Facebook’s no-nudity rule’. Bshirt designs vests, shirts and dresses that give women quick access to their breasts when they need to feed their baby. They rely a lot on social media for advertising, but Facebook’s parent company, Meta, pulled its adverts for supposedly featuring adult content.

Breasts are not things for men to whistle and wink at – and it is entirely legal to breastfeed in public anywhere in the UK.

Shame on Facebook.

As Meta admitted the ads were removed in error, they should be refunding the costs Bshirt incurred to get the ads reinstated and be held liable for the loss of sales.
