Wilson builds up the big breaks at perfect moment to reach Scottish Open showpiece
SNOOKER: Gary Wilson fired in three centuries in the final four frames to book his place in today’s BetVictor Scottish Open final in Edinburgh.
The 37-year-old Englishman defeated Thailand’s Thepchaiya Un-Nooh to reach his third ranking final.
The man from Tyneside has yet to lift a major title but will hope it will be third time lucky when the world No32 plays the winner of last night’s clash between Australia’s Neil Robertson and England’s Joe O’Connor at the Meadowbank Sports Centre today. Wilson and UnNooh shared the first six frames but the Englishman powered away in the end.
