A SPY AMONG FRIENDS

ITVX LAUNCH

ITVX is the replacement for ITV Hub (it’s still free: find it at itv.com) and launches this week with several exclusive dramas including the highly anticipated six-part series A Spy Among Friends. It tells the true story of Nicholas Elliott (Damian Lewis, far right) and Kim Philby (Guy Pearce, centre, right), two British spies and lifelong friends. Anna Maxwell-Martin (right) plays a fictional MI5 officer investigating Elliott’s involvement in Philby’s defection to the Soviet Union.

Lucy Akhurst plays Elliott’s wife,

Elizabeth. Tell Me Everything is a teen drama series and revolves around 16year-old Jonny’s (Eden H. Davies) mental health struggles in the wake of a tragic incident. His friends rally round him, but a new person in his life appears to be a dangerous influence. Also stars Carla Woodcock (right). The Confessions Of Frannie Langton is a four-part murder mystery set in Georgian London and starring Karla-Simone Spence as a maid accused of killing her employers. Plebs: Soldiers Of Rome is the featurelength conclusion to the comedy about hapless young citizens of Ancient Rome. Our heroes join the army for the excellent benefits package (generous discounts at participating restaurants), but then war is declared and they are sent to the front line. Will they survive, or will there be a Blackadder-style conclusion? From Thursday
