BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER

DISNEY+ MOVIE

When Chadwick Boseman died, the character of T’Challa, leader of the fictional nation of Wakanda, was retired. But the first film in the Black Panther series was a huge success, so director Ryan Coogler was tasked by Marvel to continue the saga. The result is an emotional movie in which Wakanda’s people fight their oppressors while grieving. Letitia Wright plays his sister, who takes over as the new Black Panther, with brilliant support from Golden Globe-winning, Bafta- and Oscarnominated Angela Bassett (left) as their mother, Ramonda, and Danai Gurira as Okoye (below).
