Defeat sees Darvel crash back to earth!

FOLLOWING their heroics in the Scottish Cup on Monday, Darvel returned to West of Scotland Premier League work yesterday but were unable to follow up their success over Aberdeen, losing 3-2 at Arthurlie.

Mick Kennedy (above) saw his side go in 2-0 ahead at the break after goals from Craig Truesdale and Allan MacKenzie. Dale Simeon strikes either side of a Ryan McGregor effort turned the game on its head to condemn Darvel to defeat.
