English? No, just rude

FRIENDS of Hugh Grant have ridden to his defence after THAT interview, claiming that he was just ‘being English’. Nice try, but no. After I wrote briefly about my own experience of being on the wrong end of Grant’s tongue on Wednesday, several readers subsequently emailed to recount their own experiences of his arrogant, diva behaviour. None of which, I’m afraid, have anything to do with Englishness.
