Mums vote Top Gun Cruise as top hunk

TOM CRUISE is the hunkiest movie star, according to the world’s biggest experts… mums.

The Top Gun actor pipped funnyman Robin Williams to the No1 spot in a poll for Mothering Sunday.

Showcase Cinemas asked them to pick the sexiest male actors of all time and their favourite film.

Cruise, 60, gained the most votes, while The Sound Of Music, which stars Julie Andrews and came out in 1965, was named as the most-loved movie. Jon Dixon, of Showcase Cinemas, said: ‘It was extremely tight, with so many classics making the top ten.’

Tom Hanks, Patrick Swayze, Robert Redford and John Wayne.

The second-placed film was Titanic, followed by the Abba musical Mamma Mia!, Pretty Woman, Dirty Dancing and

Gone With The Wind.
