Argentina’s new president, Benny Hill lookalike with eyes on Falklands

Mail Foreign Service

A FORMER tantric sex coach who has vowed to ‘get the Falklands back’ is the new president of Argentina.

Right-wing populist Javier Milei, who has been likened to Benny Hill, won Sunday’s election with 56 per cent of the vote, with Left-wing rival Sergio Massa on 44.

And within hours he told Argentine media that Britain returning the Falklands was ‘non-negotiable’.

He stopped short of saying he was prepared to go to war, and suggested a ‘solution’ similar to that between China and Hong Kong.

Mr Milei said: ‘The Malvinas

are Argentine. Now we have to see how we are going to get them back.’

Rishi Sunak last night ruled out any new negotiations. His spokesman said: ‘It’s a long settled issue, and we have no plans to revisit it.’

Mr Milei has faced a backlash for describing Margaret Thatcher – prime minister during the Falklands War – as one of humanity’s ‘great leaders’. The 53-year-old also says he used to be an instructor of tantric sex and has talked openly about having threesomes.
