This Australian series has a unique sense of authenticity and a wry sense of humour.

Its subject is a hitman who’s juggling roles as a father, ex-husband and brother to a terminally ill sibling. Part of that authenticity comes from the fact that the show’s star and creator, Scott Ryan (below), found success late in life. He was 48 when he won a ‘best newcomer’ award for this.
