‘Legal’ weed? It might as well be...

STROLLING (as I sometimes do) along one of the grimmer streets of Whitechapel in East London, I came across a bold poster featuring a figure of Father Christmas in shades and smoking a dubious cigarette, and the words ‘Legal Weed Straight To Your Door’, pictured.

I can’t see how it can be legal, but in reality it might as well be, as the utter police surrender to marijuana reaches its final stage. And to think I used to debate with prodrug academics who claimed with a straight face that this country groaned under the severe and cruel prohibition of dope. It was a big lie then. It is a gigantic lie now.
