Mud-fest fashion

HONESTLY, i don’t understand fashion rules these days.

One of your editors praises the lovely brown tones — good — but suggests you can wear camel with grey. surely there are two groups of neutrals: dove grey to silver to slate to smoke to black; then cream to camel to fudge to coffee to chocolate; and never the twain (almost) shall meet.

it is also proposed to team the lovely (i’ve got it) chocolate satin m&s shirt with a navy skirt. What kind of mud-fest is that?
