(1991) 18 10.40PM, BBC1 Kathryn Bigelow’s cult heist movie stars Keanu Reeves as a rookie FBI agent who goes undercover to infiltrate a gang of surfers who rob banks so that they don’t have to be tied down, and are free to ride the waves. Patrick Swayze is the gang’s charismatic leader (left).

THE INVISIBLE MAN

(2020) 15 10.45PM, ITV Boosted by a committed performance from Elisabeth Moss, this twist on the classic H.G. Wells tale tackles the horrors of domestic abuse while also delivering on scares, both psychological and of the old-school mad scientist variety.
