Shocking betrayal of disabled

Your article on how many disabled people are being betrayed in this country was absolutely shocking. The basic requirement for people struggling with poor health should be a home suitable for the needs the rest of us take for granted. To force people who are ill and struggling to move hundreds of miles from their home town is inhuman. There need to be major changes concerning funding.

While I feel a great sadness for Mary and Mike Nevin having to move to the other end of England to get an accessible home, I don’t think they are the only ones suffering with housing. There’s a shortage of all types of property. This little island is overpopulated, and it’s getting worse by the day.
