WILY SOUTHEE EARNS SPOT ON HONOURS BOARD
TIM SOUTHEE showed all his nous and guile at Lord’s by making the critical length adjustments which earned him a place on the honours board. The Black Caps’ seamer took one for 17 on day two with 52 per cent of his deliveries full — yesterday, however, with the ball swinging, Southee went much fuller (71 per cent) and was rewarded with a return of five for 26.
James Bracey faced six balls on his debut, all from Southee, and was worked over a treat by the canny Kiwi.
